Hi Everyone, just a quick question. Can you do a gas rate test on a card payment meter? I saw one the other day and couldn't figure out how to get the meter numbers up.

hi yes you can do a gas rate on card meters you have to keep pressing the red button (button A) until you get to the meter readings and i think if i remember correctly once your on the meter reading you can press the black for readings update

yes you can, bit of a pain cos you have to press the button at just the right time, bit awkward to get a bang on gas rate but hey ho.

Press 'A' and wait .... The new electronic one's with the green displays take time to warm up:)

Bye-the-way, once you've got your start reading ever thought of just turning the service valve off after 2mins whilst at the meter to get your final reading? All you have to do is re-set the boiler from lockout! You've also checked the FSD on the boiler at the same time :)

Set boiler etc. to high fire. Press red button 2 or is it 3 times to get the meter reading. take note and start timing.
At approx 1 min 40 sec press the red button again to display reading. It takes 15-20 seconds to bring up the reading.
