i have gas rate on my iphone and they also do a vents one also which i dont have whats easy gas?

it's gas certification software, LGSR, warning notices service, lpg

i paid 2.99 i think well happy i looked at the yellow and black one but went for the other one

if you have a printer with you then dont think there is any problem

I use electronic signature, just ask client to sign either there and then or when cert is delivered, we also email some of the clients direct so they can keep an electronic record and print themselves as and when required, you can also print site survey forms so that you can take a paper copy with you and fill in as normal, I usually keep warning notices printed off and then issue as normal but also keep an electronic copy, you can add continuation pages which allow more information to be added, i.e. reasons you believe to be unsafe, what tests you have done to come to this conclusion etc. The service/maintenance is also very handy because it gives you a record to look back, what has happened to the equipment, is it becoming a liability too much being spent keeping an old boiler going. As you can see i like them!

just try filling in with a couple of your old jobs and see what it looks like,

Hi guys just to let you know my app Gaschecker should be hitting the AppStore in the next 2 weeks its a gas certification app for both iPhone and iPad, it will do the following certs, Domestic gas safety record, Gas breakdown/service record, Gas warning notice, Gas service/ maintenance check list, Leisure industry gas safety record and Liquified petroleum gas safety record. it also has engineers signature and customer signature input. It also has sync to website so you can view certs online as well as on device. If you youtube gassafetychecker you will find some videos. the price is £39.99 one off fee rather than subscriptions. i have made it faster and easier to navigate than some of the alternatives and added some extra great functions to make it more useful. You will be able to email, print and save the PDF once completed. The app is also free to download so you can have a play around before you think about putting your hand in your pocket. I hope you guys get chance to have a look.

Cheers, I'll look out for it. You might receive the ban hammer for this post though :)

Sorry to revive an old thread.

I am looking for software to help with record keeping etc., so i can keep full and accurate records of the gas work that I do. Does anybody have any experience of this Gas Safety Checker app, and if so what are the opinions of it?

If this one is not up to scratch, what do people use - plain old pen and paper or software such as this?

Many thanks

Chris

I wonder if you’ll be interested that we are currently trialling a free software called Trades-Buddy which is soon being released, it has so many great features like texting automatic text messages to my customers and engineers. The job can be updated via ANY mobile phone and it creates invoices. The best thing about it is that it’s FREE. You just pay for the texts. It’s not available yet, but will be ready for general release in about two months.

We have looked at lots of software - this is so simple to use yet so effective. It’s saving me a fortune!

Danny can you come on here again when it's ready to go. Sounds great I do a lot of texting to customers

Gas checker, I got involved with it early on and have helped test it, it's very good and is great at emailing reminders etc. also have gas rate app,

'I use gasengineersoftware, which is quite good. It is currently just a website which you browse to on your tablet - (I hear some people link their tablets to their phone to connect)

It works quite well aside from areas of poor reception - to fix this they are bring out an App for it in a couple of weeks time. (I think)

It does a good job of chasing invoices and sending out reminders for you.'
