Gas cooker missing part? Help

Hi, I have got a gas cooker for cheap (just got my own place)

I have a friend that is registered and can fit it. But when he went to fit it he was unable to. He doesn’t specialise in cookers but he said the connection on the back of the cooker is nothing like he has done in the past.

His opinion is that there is a part missing off the back connector.

Could anybody tell me what type of connection or part I need to get this hooked up and working.

That’s what I thought would be the case.
Should have checked before I bought it. But I don’t really know anything about connecting one up.

Do you think there is any chance I would be able to source the part from another old cooker or online etc..?

Would be a shame to throw it out as it is a decent cooker and in good condition.

TBH, if he's fitting it then as a GSR engineer he should have no bother finding a suitable replacement.

Unfortunately people on here have a duty of care. This means they cannot say which bits. If however the person fitting registers (along with their verified GSR number) then comes on and asks then they would probably get a response.

As I have already had 4 beers this evening I am going to go out on a limb and hope I don’t get into trouble. However. I believe in my own personal opinion, there is no friend and you would like to fit the cooker yourself. If you do have a mate that doesn’t know what that fitting is he shouldn’t be a gas engineer. Also by looking at the corrosion on the fitting you want to connect to. It looks like it has been outside in the rain. Just get a new one.

A GSR with CKR1 wouldn't have any problem identifying the parts required.
Anyone who can't identify it shouldn't be dealing with Cookers or as above shouldn't be touching Gas appliances.
