is a gas hob with a bayonet hose on an existing installation ok on a landlord safety cert? I am running a new supply from the meter to the boiler, am I obliged to change this? wouldnt be much extra work. also got a flue to clip in the attic, runs up direct in the middle of the roof space, so cant fix clips anywhere, whats the best way to do this?

depends if the mi allows it, some do? my beumatic range does!

3x2 timber joist to rafter support!

check MI and condition of the hose. If its showing signs of stress, in danger of damage or touching the cooker underneath then best to change it.

As for the flue, use timber as Red has suggested, build a frame alongside the flue, clip every extenstion and change of direction and you will be fine. Also if manufacturer allows self tap each joint.
