How do engineers deal with these when the roon is over 10m cubed but a conservatory has been built on the back of the kitchen so there is now no openable window to outside? No where to vent to either.

At risked 2 this year. Usually more money/hassle than worth to look at additional ventilation etc.
Just advised on fitting electric cooker instead.

I came across this loads doing letting agency work.

I can't remember 100% but you have to have trickle vents and a gap under the door of a certain size and I think an extractor.

But most of them I AR and put electric in.

It was NCS in the old TB005.

Ncs, the conservatory is considered to have enough ventilation to surface the openable window. I at risked one and went back to change it after a lengthy search to find the answer.

A lot of the ones I came across were kitchens in the middle of the flat so no window what so ever and not just because of a conservatory being built.

I should really read the posts properly and not just scan through them. Lol

quote them for a solenoid on the gas pipe connected to an extractor fan with a pressure proving switch, tell em that'll make it legal and future proofed for any amendments to the gas regs

then quote them for an electric hob, i know which one they take

That tb must be the most unclear one ever. I called gas safe and got 2 different answers

i had one a month ago,AR then the landlord fitted an extractor and planed the bottom of the door off.

I seem to remember a long threadon this a few years back

without logging in to GSR I see the TB005 is here:
[DLMURL]http://cdn.cityandguilds.com/ProductDocuments/Building_Services_Industry/Plumbing/6189/6189_Level_3/Assessment_materials/6189_ISA_Assessment_Aids/TB_005A-Gas_Cookers_in_Internal_Kitchens_Eng_Wales_IoM_and_Guernsey.pdf[/DLMURL]

And there is a picture near the end with notes about exactly this situation - internal kitchen with conservatory.
