Obviously the regs state that if you have a flueless appliance, you must have a window/door in the same room which opens direct to outside. But as you see with many new builds, people just build these lovely conservatories over the kitchen window/door so instantly at risk.

You can have an extractor fan to outside which has to extract a certain volume of air per minute or whatever, and it goes to NCS?

What about if they were to put a vent through the wall to the conservatory? Would that make a difference?

Double? I thought if it was only going through the one wall it only had to be the same size?

You ain't gaining anything buy putting a vent into the conservatory if u vent via a second room then vent requirements are doubled

I thought if there was an extractor fan it had to be wired to come on with the appliance

I don't think this is right... I think you count the conservatory as part of the kitchen or something like that - hold on I will lookk it up... - be back soon!

years ago we were asked to do gas certs for some flats that were almost complete i walked in took one look and told them the gas hobs had to come out sand be replaced with electrics they argued that the architect had worked out that the gap under the door was sufficent after an hours arguing with faxes going back and forth we told them to get some one else in and that was the last we heard no doubt they found someone to sign them of
