I live in west London (Ruislip)Get my details from the web (see bottom of this page )And pls call me tomorrow ! Stan Will let you k ow tomorrow if he call ! Good night all

never knock anything, you wouldnt mind 100 people touting for work on your behalf an a 10% commision would you if it pulled in work?.
even if it were school kids with £2.50 bus fare to get back home!!!!!!

my only concern is the guy lives in cardiff?

Bit of a run into London then. He should just about manage the diesel and a packet of **** before he sets up his stall lol

many thanks for replies am interviewing seven engineers next week obtained the gas engineers from other sources, anyone know what pimlico pay as percentage to their self employed people is it 40, 50 , 60 ?

I worked as a subby to them grossing various generally four figure pay p[ackets

gaspastemania thanks, did you get a percentage and if so what was it ?

did pimlico set a specific geographical area for you say within 6 miles of nw1 london or similar?

worked around the victoria region mainly but on occasions float elsewhere , bit nosey about my wage packet bit like asking what my wifes like !!!

you did not call me today ....nick11 :( so you do not have any jobs in west london for me then ?

I hope I am wrong, and if I am I apologise whole heartedly in advance Nick11, but this seems a bid fishy to me. How can you start a plumbing/heating firm in London working from Cardiff and also why do you not know about prices etc already. Surely you should have a rough idea of what you will be paying your guys to do the work for you?

Like I say I hope I am wrong and you can bring some work the way of some of the guys on here, but in my opinion it all sounds a bit odd, you'll be asking for a one off payment upfront next:wacko:

If you are going to be incomptition with pimlico plumbers , you have no chance of building a firm in west London

Would I be correct in thinking you aren't a Gas Engineer yourself? I'm just wondering as you don't appear to be starting a heating/plumbing business in the conventional way (not that I'm saying its wrong). Have you researched the area you will be operating in? Simply jumping in and under cutting wont gain the amount of work you think it will imho.

I'll keep an eye out for you'r vans what are you calling the company?

sounds like a idea for dragons den.....undercuting in a expenses area lol
