Is it me or these slowly becoming more common

Hopefully you will be able to have access to what the cause of the explosion was.

Unfortunately, full investigations are only carried out if the Coroner get involved.
Even then, people are ducking for cover and the case ends up being and 'unfortunate event'

That's how some of the cases have gone over here.

As for the release of the findings, you may never get to see them.

We rarely get the whole picture over here. Never know how gas safe/hse deal with stuff. This is what they should be advertising as a deterrent.
