what would you class a gas hob as if it was connected by a cooker hose - the data plate and make cant be found.

I'd say AR - the cooker hose is an approved method of connection, but used in an inappropriate location. It'd also be RIDDOR reportable (GIUSP s5.2)

you cant confirm that the manufacturers instructions allow a hob to be connected with a cooker hose,
so cover your @rse, AR OR NCS, take your pick

A similar post has been covered before on here, from memory I think some hobs allow it although the issue was the temp behind the oven where the hose would be.

if the hose is in good condition and fitted correctly its probably ncs,

the data badge and manufactures information missing is another problem as you cant identify the appliance you cant verify its suitable for installation on nautral gas and gas rate it etc so imo i would disconnect and label ID for this reason.

Ditto

ID is a bit harsh IMO!

The flame picture will tell you if it's burning right. AR would suffice personally.

Each to their own though, its a personal opinion and you can't be blamed for being over cautious, but from a business point of view you could get a few backs up turning peoples cooking facilities off!
