Looking just to see anyone's view on a situation where the gas boiler is performing as to all manufacturers stated combustion readings and gas rate but has 16.5 mbar inlet working pressure. What's your views on gas industries unsafe situations procedure relevant to this?

You should contact the distributor - might need a new regulator fitted.

Curnsie... recent quotation from a Vokera service engineer regarding that, "if its more than 14 id let it go" although thats his opinion, and MI state min 20mb!

If working pressure at meter is ok I would just make a note, as long as fga is ok or appliance is maining bp it is ok, as I understand it, the instalation should be classed as AR if this is the case. (i would make a note not shut off)
If it is altering the flame picture or fga reading it should be classed as ID.
It is a bit of a grey area as at peak times there may not even be enough pressure in the incomming main to enable correct working pressure at appliance even if pipework is correctly sized.

I don't really have a view on it. It may be ok for all we know given the information. Even if it is not NCS if everything else is fine.
What was the pressure at the meter?

Pressure at meter is 20mbar, that's 3.5mbar drop, I'm going back tomorrow to put a test tee on below boiler, test pressure there and if need be increase the pipe size for them

This is a hot topic, mi,s say it's ok and gs regs say it isn't. Tough one this because mi,s usually state it's fine. Personally I think it's ok if its ok by the mi,s. It simply can't be ar or I'd.

I've worked on the Mikrofill pres units and Mikrofill water storage units

Have only checked the boiler working pressure but will check all sinarios tomorrow. Has anyone worked on/ repaired any morco feb20's?

What kw is this boiler?

Yes, in static caravans.

Yea, have u seen any with the high ventilation hole installed which is required for compartment installations, I went to one and the low vent was bigger than required and because the horizontal flue kit is on the same wall as where the high vent should be, there was no vent. In my opinion the high vent can't be put in as it would more than likely draw in products of combustion, any views?

Gas pressure drop is an indication of faulty pipework. Could be undersized, could be blocked, could be damaged. Just because it meets the lower pressures required for modulating boilers does not mean the pipework is okay. So the boiler would be okay but the pipework NCS.
