British Gas is recruiting Apprentices for our Central Heating Installations team. This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top companies in the UK. We will give you the knowledge, skills and experience you need for a successful career as a Gas Installation Engineer, and what’s more, you will be earning along the way.
· Starting salary of £5,410 rising to £32,404 once fully qualified and competent
We are looking for enthusiastic, customer focused Apprentices to grow and become fully qualified within our Central Heating Installation business. We will provide industry leading training, so we need you to be prepared to learn the technical aspects of the role. You will receive a rewarding benefits package including all of your equipment, the latest laptop technology, paid holiday, pension and share schemes. During your Apprenticeship you will be required to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Gold award or British Gas Award programme.
As an Apprentice Gas Installation Engineer, you should hold a minimum of 4 GCSEs/Scottish Standard Grades or equivalent at grade C or above, including English and Maths, and have a full driving licence with 6 points or less for use within the UK. The role will involve heavy lifting, so a suitable level of physical fitness will be required.
