Called out to a gas leak in untiilty room where the meter & boiler stored , walked in there , owner had already turned off ECV , room still smelled when o arrived , I done a tightness test , sound , got out my gas sniffer to check incoming barrel pipe , all good ,
then spotted tucked in the corner of the room a small propane bottle used for camp fire / kettle
took it out side , had a sniff ( bottle ) found it leaking bye smell , but no signs off holes ,

i should have spotted it , as it smells different to NG , had the same smell in my van when me blow touch leaked

It was my pal . Charged him £40 . Gave me £10 tip ,,,
