Technically I think it is AR. But to be honest. Put some non setting compound around it and note it on the cert.

Are medium pressure the upso/opso type? Note it down as per others. Technical bulletin 004 gives examples, and also mentions considerations, one being an electrician may take an inappropriate route. It doesn’t give guidance on what to classify it as though.

I would AR as well mate but not if it is sealed with something appropriate. Silicone is not appropriate though. Looking at the pic again it looks like they have used clear silicone.

Sure it comes under Section 2.8 mate. Damage to meter box where gas can escape in to the cavity. That’s why I said note on cert if it is sealed correctly.

That’s the issue mate. What some of us see as AR could possibly just be NCS

Actually had this on one of our Gas Safe Inspections and he never mentioned it being AR and we discussed it. Usual thing sparky had been afterwards.
