protec gas

I have a parlor type house with the gas meter in the parlor. The house is currently
used as a bail hostal and the parlor used as a bedroom and has a lock on it, how can i comply with gas regs without moving
the meter.any ideas.

Not an ideal position for a meter given the use of the room. You could fit an AECV somewhere but it would be better moved.

Thanks for that, moving the meter may be best option , but have the same issue with a number of propertys so cost could become a problem as well

You might have little choice. I take it you have to comply with some council or gov regulations so ask them what they think.
