gas meter location

btw, its to a gw betacom 30cd boiler if your wondering!

What's bothering you about the meter ? The air brick ?

is the orange blow off and what's the black on top of the meter box and the window sill is that from the flue ?

its the fact on a gas inspection at a commercial office. the court yard and parking is tight, this one is at the enterance.
it is an allocated parking place but there is no protection to the externally mounted meter or pipe work should any one back into it!.
the flue i need to check on too!,

well, i just wanted to make sure 'unprotected pipe work' from vehicle impact to cover my arse, so told them to put a ballard or small wall up.
i can just see them skidding on ice into it and yes, all women and reversing dont mix.lol

Looks like a valliant group flue ( glow worm ect) can't u have one 30mm dimm? 100mm batton / kerb or upstand will suffice? As protection . It's reasonably practicable to have meter installed like that and expect driver to exercise due care and attention. How many u65 boxes do u see in planters adjacent to loading bays or carpark ?
