thought id post this again and just hello to you properly this time

a quick question guys ive gone to do a quote today to move a boiler while I was there the customer asked about the gas meter

they are planning a new kitchen and the gas meter would fall into a 600mm base unit under a gas hob .
now i know your not suposed to have meters in pantry's but cant find anything in my unsafe sits book to say not under hobs
so I thought id throw it on here see if anyone has come across this before

meter sat at floor leval bracketed to wall sound instalation would say 18" clearance to hob base any ideas ? cheers

(2nd family gases)

6.9 Location of meter installation

6.9.1 General
6.9.1.3
A meter installation shall not be sited:

a) in close proximity to any source of heat or where it might be subjected to extremes of temperature;
b) where food is stored;
c) where it might be exposed to accidental damage;
d) where it might cause an obstruction;
e) where it might be affected by a damp or corrosive atmosphere (semi-concealed meter installation excepted);
f) where it will constitute a danger to any person;g) any nearer to electrical wiring, switchgear, etc. than the distances in 8.10;
h) at such a low level that there is a significant risk of it being submerged in the event of flooding
i) in an unventilated space.

IMO. If a meter is accessable. It's probably allowed
 
Remove meter by using a meter mate. Two unions, two studs and bit of tube
