went to service a worcester combi today and noticed the gas meter directly below the boiler with the central heating flow pipe running along the back of the gas meter with about a 10mm gap between the meter and the pipe! the boiler had its clearences of 200mm below the boiler! can someone please help me out with this one! a think the meter will need moved or boxed in, incase the boiler leaks! and am sure it has to be 65mm from pipe/ cabble to gas meter?

Nothing in regs about being next to water pipework as far as I am aware. Loads under sinks.
Gas meter/pipe: 150mm from electricity box, 25mm form cables

Graham's correct. No requirement regarding water pipe distance. Is the meter on a bracket though?

there are loads of meters in these types of positions and never cause any bother,

There are also plenty of external gas meter boxes with the lids blown off and rain and snow blowing in onto the meter.
