Is there any restrictions on how near the gas meter can be to a boiler?..went to fit a radiator at a house and when I went to the boiler the gas meter was literally right underneath it, the top of the governor was around 400mm to the bottom of the boiler? The boiler is a two year old Worcester 28i, had a look through my old college books but couldn't find anything on the matter so thought i might get a quicker answer on here any help would be appreciated thanks

Youd be as well to look through boiler MI and check for clearances of boiler from other things

No distances from meter I can recall for that specifically.
Just distances from other electrical thingymywhatsists. Ie cables. Consumet units so on and so forth.
