Is this within regs... Sleeved, and sealed at one end (on the external wall) the gas pipe is running from the external gas meter box down and thru the air brick. and under the floor joists. Clipped correctly to the underside of the joist.. Appreciate your replies..
 
no not acceptable
the pipe should be sealed on the internal wall to allow any escape to pass externally and the sleave needs to be sealed around the annular area..this is a bodge job
 
i have seen tons of gas pipes and drain off pipes cut through air bricks as it is easier but it wont be allowed, it doesnt really contravene any gas reg if sleeved and sealed, but it will contravene building regs as the vent is sized and fitted to supply a certain amount of air and the pipe will restrict a small amount of air
