Hi all,
Got a question regarding running a gas pipe under ground. My client has had a new meter installed at the end of their garden which is about 15m from the house. Is it right that you have to run it in steel barrel pipe? This is what the gas guy who I use has said needs to go in, he’s a good bloke but close top retirement so doesn’t care much for looking into new ways of doing things. The customer want to install a duct so I was hoping he could put in the yellow plastic pipe that the gas board use or something like tracpipe (that PVC coated flexible steel stuff) after the trench has been back filled.
Anyone have any experience in this?
