Morning all

Went to quote for a new boiler last night, but as the custard is having some building works done at the same time I've got a lot of pipe work to hide. This is not much of a problem, but the custard wants the new gas main to run on the floor though his garage (which he is having converted in to kitchen / dining room) & will be screeded.

Can I run trac-pipe on the floor & then have it screeded over????

Thanks gents

You can, but it is very expensive material. Price match it against plastic coated copper and allow a little extra for labour costs on the copper.

Don't know why it should be so expensive. It puts alot of people off using it.

I priced it up in trac-pipe & wasn't to bad TBH, less than £200 with fittings & 10 meters of pipe
I think by doing it with trac-pipe will save a lot on labour

But you get paid for the labour? Lol

What's the point of the quick expensive option if you can go with the intensive cheap option and get more from it?

or charge the same labour and make more profit because your have used your brain and made your install quicker :)
