just a general enquiry to see if anyone can shed some light on the following.

i'm doing my acs shortly and i work with my mate who is gsr 2/3 days a week but subcontracting labour, not as an employee. therefore as i am self employed my own pli covers me.

dave (gsr) is saying that when i get my acs he would like to put me on his gs ticket until i at least complete my probationary period cos he's a decent bloke and can provide me with the gas work for my inspections that my limited advertising budget would struggle to generate.

the question is whether under the same arrangement as above that is possible or whether i would need to be classed as a formal employee and added to his insurance???

does anyone know what is allowed??

thx

KJ

Sorry. Slightly off but

If you go on your mates GSR ticket. You will still have to serve a probationary period when your register on your own

I know that mate. Question is can he add me as a subby or would i have to be employed by him formally.
