gas safe newly registered engineers? a quick question for all GSRE's

Hi guy's

after pondering on wether or not to register with gas safe in my own right or not i finally decided at the weekend that the time had come.

basically im registered at the mo with another company i work/sub for. the understanding was they find the work i get day rate only, if i find the work i get 50% share of any profits, after passing on about 10 boiler jobs ive still never had the share of the profits, it was agreed verbally but sadly a gentlemans word is no longer worth anything now, so anyways after 2 years of doing this i finally decided to go GSR on my own company especially after passing on my most recent job where the profits were around £1000. didnt even get a thankyou. (so im now registered with 2 companies)

my main question is how long does it take for my company to get put on the GSR find an engineer page?

ive had the confirmation and money has gone out the account and i can log into the GSR website. but not yet on the find an engineer thing, did it take long for you guys?

about a week or so for me, not really had any jobs off the GS website yet though...have had 2 people phone me up though to see if i'll take them on.

Took me about a week aswell, although I get lots of work off the website - I turn most of it down though

I am happy for you obseen16 , will take little bit of time just be passion and dont do any work now ! just wait for your ticket to come !
Do not give them any other work , shear it with any one on 50/50 but not to a company

yeah im sharing it out with one of the other lads that works with us, the company is only small but still it has annoyed me that the gaffa conviniently forgets what he says about sharing out profits with us for finding the work, oh well did it for 2 years without kicking off. now ive had enough already got a big job lined up that i found, i wont be passing that on either. were all good mates which is partly why i put up with it for so long,

in hind sight id have registered my own company right at the start. cant change the past tho eh?
