Hey Guys,

I'm looking at registering with the Gas Safe Register but was unsure how many and what are the full options for "Domestic Areas of Work:"

+ Combustion Analysis
+ Cooker
+ Fire
+ Gas Boiler
+ Pipework
+ Range Cooker
+ Vented Cyl

what others are there? They don't give an option on the application and don't want to get introuble with them.

Please help

Welcome to the forums Marie and congratulations on passing, I'm pretty sure one of the lads with a personal registration will be only too pleased to advise you.

And bump your post count up to 10 while your registration goes through, we'll get you into the gsr private forum then.

I'd like a list so that I know, because I'm just got all the training and looking forward to 2014 being productive and becoming selfemployed female plumber. Could be a great USP in Manchester. I couldn't any female plumbers in Manchester. Is there a list on the Gas Gas Register

Not as far as your gender is concerned no.

But call your company 'Manc Lass GSR - we won't steal your tyres' you'll be in with a fighting chance ;D

I was looking more for a list of options available to all plumbers in general but a female list would be pretty awesome.

When you apply you'll automatically be registered to work on the appliances you're qualified in. If you've got your unvented ticket you have to tell them about that one because it isn't automatically notified to them.
