Im registered with GS already for Domestic and commercial LPG and industrial T&P through the company I work for.

My question is:

Can I register myself on there with my own business? Aswell as with the company?

Or do I not need to? Because I'm already on there?

When I was self employed and I just never renewed my registration when it came to the end because I was getting a start with this company.

Any help would be fantastico!

I dont mean that side of it. I mean the GS side of things?

as Lee says, it depends on your contract. There's no problem registering yourself as a seperate entity but the company you work for may take the view that they've paid for your training, any gas work you do would be exclusively for them. Have a chat with your boss.

don't think the company trained him croppie, he said that he was gs before joining the company.

Sorry yeah I didn't say. I put myself through domestic ACS and the company has since given me industrial testing and purging and commercial.

The reason I ask is a friend of mine is running mechanical on a site of 10 or so flats and next year they will be needing someone to commission the boilers Etc. obviously this will pay for my registration and cover my liability insurance. Any gas work after is just a bonus.

I'm just dreading starting the books up again haha.

Dont know the ins and outs but on our last gas safe visit all he tried to sell ne was my own gsr. Abd as i was already registered with work i could buy a half price membership if sorts? Dont know how i would work but didnt ask as mon- fri is enough.
