gas safe registration pending

registered today, paid up in full am now pending, anybody know how long it takes them to clear the pending bit and can I now work on gas?

I thought you could start right away, phone back tomorrow and ask for your gas safe number and confirmation that you are good to go, I was sure once the payment was taken that was you in, your card will follow on but if a customer wants to check on you they can phone and confirm

me too they forgot to mention this before I handed over 400 plus :/ yeah I need my number so I can order cp12s to sign off work

You're defo good to go if you call them some kind soul there should send a confirmation email

You can buy blank ones, just fill all your details in with a pen

U use a pen . It's a universal form. Who told you it must be personalised ? Not sales rep from gas safe direct?

just the only ones iv seen mate only ever been registered through a firm, and that's how they've always been

You can not work until you have been confirmed with certificate and registration number. Phone them and ask more about the process.

When I registered the start of the month after payment went though I'm sure it took me to a page on the gas safe site saying we could undertake gas work straight away.
