hey, i am looking to buy a half decent gas tool kit and essential label set, does anyone recomend any, had a look at the gas safe tool kit but looks like you would only use about half of the equipment in the pack.

Get what you need as you go along - Thats great at half past eight in the evening when you need to at risk a gas fire and you have got no tape or lables.
For about £150 you can get the whole shebang then keep it in the van and your sorted

Pop in to your local parts centre and have a look at what they have, I get good rates at mine and got landlords certs, safety certs, warning pads and service sheets for only a fiver a book.

Go to PTS for labels they are really cheap there.

Too true. You dont want stacks of stuff you wont ever use but not having a label when you want it is a pain. Something like this one CORGIdirect Gas Safety Check Kit | Kits & Packs | Corgi Direct for 54 quid isnt going to break the bank though.

I recommend not buying the cheap leak detector and only buyin rocol or centre brand

Centre brand is rocol in a yellow tin

I have the CK magna carry case for my servicing and landlords work, it has a centre pocket for the cert books and labels, two separate zip down areas for tools and servicing tools. For £60 they work a treat, throw the analyser over your shoulder and away you go
