Well just had my first gas safe inspection today after going self employed,the guy was great very helpfully give loads of little pointers.

Been doing gas for over 25 years every days a school day.

now time for beer !,,,

The guy who i work with hasnt seen his for 12 years. They must just forget about you after a bit.

Mine used to live opposite my outlaws so no avoiding him really. And before I left and he was made redundant he was my manager on BG.

As Corgi ended my guy mentioned the proposed new inspection regimes. They were going to try and double the number of inspections per day to support trimming the workforce. Wonder what the results of that might be ?

I'm still waiting for my 6 month check up..... 3 years later....

Pipeman, the inspection probably went so well because you know what you are doing, the inspectors aren't there to make a good engineers life difficult they a re there to suss out who doesn't know what they are doing, and obviously coffee and biscuits help haha
