Hi all just a quick question, a customer of mine was having a smart meter installed when they found a leak and capped the gas off. I had a quick look at the gas run it runs through walls and floors with no sleeving so suggested a brand new run. Not being gas safe i cannot do it and the customer has got a gas safe engineer to do it which is great, my question is does this remedial work require any certification as the engineer told the customer it does not and is charging a fair bit. Cheers in advance.

Not really but normally do one for the appliances and note down pressures etc
