Just a quick question in a rented property if the boiler is replaced does a landlord certifcate need doing if the existing certificate as not run out

You do not require any inspection of a new appliance for a year after installed, so if the boiler is the only appliance in the property, you do not require a gas safety inspection for 12 months afterwards, even if old expires ,however as there are probably more than the boiler in the property, say a cooker or hob, in practice when the old gas safety inspection cert expirers and new carried out on other existing appliances, the new boiler /appliance will be put on that,even if only a month afterwards ,to keep all inspections of appliances together or you would end up having two inspections a year, one for existing appliances and ,one for previously newly installed one’s
