Gas supply interrupted

Down my road the gas supply was interupted for extension work on the gas supply. We have been without gas for 2 days.

Am i right in sayint that once the gas gets switched back on the company will have to do a soundness test to all the properties whos gas was interupted?

Yes. If they find any leaks they will cap the supply.

they will also have to purge the installtions

are we 100% sure that the gas supplier must do a TT on every property, i know they need to purge and relight, there is a TB about this, will have a look through it (not sure if it only relates to domestic guys switching off, but surely the procedure is the same)
