just wanted to pick a few brains really,

im at college doing my plumbing, and also working alongside a gsri, basically the bloke who im working for is prepared to sign my work off me, but the question is, as im classed as a cat3 where would i go from here, is it a gas foundation course?? bit unsure.

im working with this bloke for free so want to take any oppertunity that i can, obviously i will have to put lots of hard work in, and keep reading my books, can nearly read them back to front now:)

let me know your thoughts lads.

cheers

Are you currently doing gas work with this guy?

Ask College if you could also do NVQ2 in Gas, this should make you a category 2.

yes im currently doing gas work with the guy, installs, landlord certs etc...

do you also do plumbing work? is it enough to get the 6089? get thats first then apply for ACS as a cat2
