Guys,
I'm a electrician not a heating engineer.
Just went to check my boiler as we have no heating and hot water and the boiler is completely dead(mains indicator light off).
Just poking around to make sure there was power to the boiler and checking the connector plugs to the PCB board and when I take off the gas valve connector, the boiler comes to life, obvisiously it doesn't fire up and when you reconnect the gas valve connector the boiler dies. Logic tells me that it's a gas valve fault opposed to a PCB board.
Gonna call out a engineer tomorrow or might wait till monday, anybody give me a idea the cost in replacing a gas valve on a condensing boiler.
Thanks.
Paul.
