I am fitting a full ch into a 3 story townhouse fitting a combi as my gas engineer suggested it he just wont suggest a make of boiler which I find strange he usually installs viesmans but as its a 32kw he said the price's are crazy is there any good serving good value combis you could recommend cheers.

How many bathrooms is it feeding? Have you thought about upgrading your GSR engineer??

3 story = 3 heating zones
i hope boiler is not in the basement and bathrooms on the 3th floor .......

1 bathroom (electric shower ) boiler to be fitted in old airing cupboard outside bathroom and kitchen directly below I say 3 floors its 2 and a loft bedroom with one 1200 k1

the gse I use is usually spot on (I think!!) and has been in the game over 20 years he just said they are all much of the same now adays and to just put a cheep one in but still didn't give a make

he checked all that I have no involvement with the boiler usually just core the hole where he says and run hot cold flow and return to within a m of where he will be installing there is 8 rads going on

He's usually "spot on" and has been in the game for over 20 years but he can't give you a recommendation for a combi boiler?!
Why don't you find a reputable engineer in your local area who can have a look and recommend which type of system would be suitable for your property.
If your lucky the engineer may even be able to recommend a boiler manufacture for you!
Good luck!

Ha sorry after re reading the OP I thought it was a system to be installed in your house as a customer!

No I am a plumber who fits a lot of bathrooms and does quite a lot of general building work but I served my time as a plumber but as I arnt gas safe I don't really go near boilers other than to fill or what have you thanks plumber0800!

As you are doing the rest of it yourself you might as well take the responsibility for picking the boiler. Pay your money take your chance. They all work.

I don't usually like to get involved with anything todo with boilers not my game, I usually supply everything except the boiler and he turns up with what ever he has closed 9 times out of 10 a viesman buty on this one he has told me to supply the lot the more I think about it the stranger it gets

I take it you are aware of different manufactures names so have a good search on here, have a look on the manufactures websites, compare prices at online merchants etc. As above posted, they all work......

a lad I took through most of his time has just completed his acs and gse exams so might have to give him a go!

im with tamz, hes probably on the stop and dont want to buy the boiler.
