If you can throw in counter flanges & bushes down to 1/2" (I have got the MI's) I will have it !!!! LOL

Unfortunately it seems to be an expensive mistake of mine. I have been struggling to sell it even at a knock down price and it's something I'm unlikely to use for another customer. Since then I invoice the customer for materials like this on delivery to site as a separate invoice to the job, and purchase them locally on a sale or return basis so if I don't get paid I can take it back to the merchants.

Polish it up and put it on the mantle piece/ coffee table. Say its plumbing art.

Or use it as a door stop.

Or cable tie it to the front of your van (deer hunter style)

Or weigh it in, and buy a bottle or turps with the money. Hic.

Or - or - stick it on ebay!!

I don't think many of us lot will need a 100mm gate valve any time soon!! Sorry mate.

Ive just taken 16 of these out that were fitted to a low pressure steam system (7bar) and I threw them in the bin.

Did you manage to sell it on ebay? WHPES

i had some valves overhauled by a arc base in Thetford Norfolk. Its a few years ago i went in but they had some od valves in stock. Had a look on google,They are on 01842 763580. Good luck.

I think I've found a pipeline company who may take it off my hands in exchange for some surplus kit they don't use anymore. I will ask my accountant and hopefully it can be written off against tax, at least that would be something.
