Who would buy one of these?

(I know the answer but do you?)

;)

Excellent!! Must admit I had no idea why someone would want one of these until it was explained.

My father plumbed in a load of glass waste pipe in a hospital in London back in the 70's. The idea was much the same, to take a look at unmentionables while it stayed hermetically sealed from the doctors. He also mentioned something about an airport so that's how I knew. Pretty gross really.

glass tube was the norm for most laborities in the sixties nothing to do with viewing but glass isnt attacked by most acids and chemicals
as to who would buy a glass pan probably biggest use would be for certain x rated movies

I am never, ever, EVER going to the pictures with you Steve!

Surely the glass pipework would become fouled with faecal matter and you would end up not being able to see through it?

I saw at a home exhibition once glass radiators and the system water had a coloured dye in it. Looked quite nice but I can only imagine the mess if you had a leak!
