Hi All

Not sure if anyone can help or advise but i'm coming to the end of life with this eco boiler!!
I have paid a lot of money out so far, on (lets try this to see if this works) and don't want to anymore..

My problem, the boiler trips out and gets very hot! i have had the below changed recently and its intermittent on tripping out and staying on.. if i just have hot water and no heating on the boiler will never trip out, once the heating/timer kicks in its get to hot and cuts off. the reading on the boiler before the burner cuts off is showing around 79 (to me that seems to hot)

Things changed within the last 2 months:
New Timer (as i got told my old one could be faulty)
all the sensor leads
Infrareds on the main circuit board
New condensors ect

any advice or help will be greatly received, the boiler runs my underfloor heating and is linked to the solar power in the roof and most people i contact do not know how to work on it..

thanks
kevin

It is a thermal store kevin, it should be able to go up to 82 what actually trips out ? if it is the boiler, it does fire up with use of the HW doesn't it?
Anyone checked the water level in the store ?

I would also check the zone valve for a leak possibly dripping on to the actuator or onto the wiring centre.

Another thing to rule out is circulation problem on the ch. Blockages or restrictions mean the boiler overheats and the boilers overheat stat will activate

Hi Chris, thank you for the reply. basically as above I have changed everything I can think of.. when the hot water is on (no heating) the boiler will stay on and nothing trips out! when i introduce heating (either on timer or constant) the Boiler overheat (button kicks out) and i have to keep pressing it back in to kick start the boiler again.. it will fire back up but not for long and the button kicks out again.. no-one has checked the Thermal store or the water level as i cannot find anyone in south wales who will look at it for me!!

any help will be greatly received chris

thanks kevin
