Hi everyone
The boiler fitted is a Glow worm micron, and the system is a standard domestic copper cylinder type,
approx 1 year ago the boiler started shutting down maybe once a week, pressing the reset button usually resolved the problem, but recently the boiler has started shutting down every other day,
The problem seems much worse when I just have the water heating up ( no central heating ) if I want hot water the boiler is less likely to cut out if I also run the heating, the pump is a Grundfos alpha + and looks pretty new, I'm not exactly sure how old the pump and boiler are as I bought this house just a few years ago, the house has 10 radiators some with quite long runs of pipe work due to extensions on the house,
Not sure if these other problems are related but the highest radiator in the house needs bleeding of air once a week due to being half full of air, i thought that there may be a small leak so Sentinel stop leak was added to the system along with inhibitor a few weeks ago but the radiator still fills with air, also after the heating has run for about 15 mins the overflow from the heating header tank drains quite a lot of water out of the pipe before it stops maybe about a bucket full
Sorry it's a little long winded, I've put everything in just in case these things are related
Thanks

call a heating technician to have a look, you probably have several issues to resolve.
