Glow worm Cxi F5

Hi guys, any advice on the above boiler with F5 error? I understand its overheating. Apart from resetting the overheat button, checking the pump , sludge on the system is any common fault on this boiler? Thx in advance.

Blocked played heat ex, but first I'd be checking the combustion seal and flue hood.

I've checked the combustion seal, flue hood, thermistors, cleaned the filter on the return still cutting off. Unable to speak to glow worm tech after half hour on hold. Anyone got any suggestion? Cheers

Did you check plated heat ex? When does it go to f5 h/w Or c/h? How long does it run before locking out?

Cheers Dave for reply, sometimes it takes a couple of days to lock out, I've asked costumer to keep record. It doesn't lock out while I been there, but hot water its that great. The boiler it's not even 5year old.

is the pump failing / check bypass / check there is a radiator with lock sheilds no trv these boilers are sensitive to flow temps
