really would be appreciated if any one has the glow worm fuelsaver 40br installation manual to hand having to do many visits to get it sorted out.

Or if anyone has had experience with spillage on these .the boiler case seal is new, heat exchanger cleaned sight glass new,external flue edges sealed but still setting off co detector

Easy job diagnosing a faulty gas valve and replaced it now ended up with the boiler spilling can't imagine why

Easy enough to download bud, she a old girl maybe time for a upgrade rather than keep throwing parts on it. Kop

Letting agency repairs and not a bad girl for the age. I can't find anything to download so I can see if I've missed anything

I can't find the manual online anywhere, a spares website lists the manual as obsolete but still sells the gas valve for it . I don't know whether the boiler is open flued or not so it may not be relevant but have you checked the room has sufficient ventilation? And if it worked fine before the gas valve died, are you sure you've installed the correct gas valve or is burner pressure etc all ok?

Sorry, missed missed the part where you corrected yourself

Gas valve and burner pressure all ok . It's the balanced flue sealed boiler. Got the manual emailed from glow worm and been back today. I discovered another boiler seal at the back of the boiler almost like dust so badly brittle so been back this morning and smoke bombed from outside. As you can see I found the issue

To risky replacing the gasket . They also have a multi point hot water boiler so I've talked the landlord into having a combi to replace this and the heat only
