Hey all,

Just wondering if any of you have experienced the following with a glow worm micron 80ff:

intermittent fault where the boiler goes to lockout
Customer is turning the boiler off at mains and back on again to re-set it and then it will run again.

NO leds flashing on the front according to the customer as I believe the two leds on the front should indicate the possible fault

Circulation is ok, new CH pump and a flush out a few months back.

I was thinking originally it may be the thermister that sits in a dry pocket on the heat exchanger, but the leds should indicate this but do not.

So if anyone has any experienced something similar with this boiler, let me know.

As always, it works perfectly when I'm on site

Cheers

The old micron used to have bother with hot spots on the circuit board. Examine the board to see if there is discolouration.

i have a similar problem with my 50ff. it runs fine for ages then has a spate of needing to be reset several times a day, then runs ok again. very confusing.
