hi guys,i have a gloworm ultimate 40ff,yesterday it would only heat hot water but not C.H.now today i can switch it on but as soon as i switch the central heating or hot water on it trips the RCD so all the sockets in the house switch off,as i say i can switch boiler on but cannot call for heating or hot water!!! now i'm cold and smelly:D.its not a combi,if anyone can help i'd be grateful thanx:)

Well first thing to check would be motorised valves have not been leaked onto maybe from pump valves

If ok can you turn power onto system with controls for heating and hot water in off position if so when you turn hot water on does it trip straight away or after a few seconds of being on ?

both hot water and CH trip RCD after a few seconds, probably 2 maybe 3 seconds at most.

well points to motorised valves opening then system tripping ,check for leaks as said
also could be melting snow, causing water to travel down flue and shorting something
Or it could be the cold weather has brought the mice in,they do like a bit of cabling :(,think engineer maybe required

+1 with what puddle says, water in pump windings/3 port/2 port from leak.
