serviced this a few days ago and the thermocouple fell apart when i brushed it so fitted new what a pig in unaccessible place - just got called back to it the overheat stat has failed i must have knocked the wires when fitting the thermocouple - they were brittle and when removing the cover today the insulation had fell off the wires due to close proximity of the htg pipe - i was shocked to find new over heat stat is £23 + vat is there anywhere cheaperto obtain these

its easy f you have access to lh side of the boiler and ensure you slacken the clamp fully allow t he cable to pass through
