let me know how you get on mate the ones on my patch need the burner removing this year - diverter valve crap motor and vlve in one piece £160.also never understud the condense trap you cant extract without removing the whole assy

G/W state a Full strip is not required following satisfactory FGA readings. Serviced a few and not had any real issues.
As BP mentions the condi trap is a pain to remove and clean.
Just keep in mind older than 2009 IIRC there were issues with pinholes in H/E sump leaking condensate and the whole H/E requires replacing.

Ye, the gas valve can be adjusted on these so you need to know the correct co2% and how to adjust them. They don't burn that clean though, not like Duo Tecs do gas man. You have to press and hold the rest button whist pressing the + button to put it in service mode, then select Hi, then press mode to fire it up IIRC. I'd download the instructions and take them with you tbh.

The flue hood seal is good for going where it meets the sump, carefully undo the two side clips lift up the rotate 90 degrees to get it out always worth checking. The condence trap is easy to get out.
