Just been in Wickes it's the busiest I've ever seen it.
Get ready for screws through pipes and airlocks!

I have always loved TRV's they are useless compared to proper heating controls,
the profit on them as an installer is good, they work for a while (until the GTee is out)
and then need replacing...because they are defunct or ugly......all except Draytons nice lookin valve ..........massive profit...centralheatking
Its also still cold at night - so when they take the radiator off and dont screw
the TRV cap on - when it gets cold around 5.00am - all the contents of the
heating system arrive when the valve goes to frost setting .......

I hate DIY stores, there always full of morons wearing army trousers with huge tape measures attached to there hips. You can find them near the power tools pretending they have big penuses.

Noticed a little podium in b n q the other day next to the plumbing section. ( I was buying wood, not plumbing supplies)
Basically it's a demo area to show diyers how easy it is to do plumbing. Showing them how to use push fit and fit outside taps.

I wonder if b n q pay to have the leaks repaired or pay to have things rectified that don't meet the water regs done by diyers on bad advise
