grasslin qeg2 programer not working

Hi i have installed a vaillant 630 eco tech plus system boiler with a telford cylinder , and a grasslin qeg2 programmer , every time i set the programmer it goes back to default settings , i have changed the controller as i thought this was faulty but is happening again with new one.Any ideas why this should happen.

hi yes have watched a few youtube vids and are happy with how to set controller. it just looses its program after a while and goes back to default. i spoke with grasslin who make the condoler and they say it is getting a spike from somewhere but the whole system is brand new
