Hi,

I would be grateful if anyone could give me some advice on a problem i have with a Worcester Greenstar 28i boiler that is fine when i turn the hot tap on but is not firing up to heat the rads. I have pressed the reset button on which the boiler fires up for a few seconds then cuts out. I have been able to put it into service mode & the rads will then heat up.

I have 1 room thermostat located in the hallway & ive noticed that when i turn the dial there is no clicking noise at all. Could this be the source of the problem???

Thank you in advance!!!

So you think thats maybe the cause of the problem with the boiler not heating the rads then???

Two small screws underneath take top off, get a bit of wire with the two ends stripped and put them between live and 3.

If you feel better do it with the power off then pop it back on with the link in. If it works your room stat needs replacing.

Sounds more of a controls issue than a boiler issue TBH, as the guys have said check that out first :)
