Hello guys, working on greenstar 28i junior, got no heating but hot water is ok. After checking the roomstat I'm suspecting is the diverter valve. Is it worth changin just the divert valve motor or the diverter valve assembly? Any suggestion will be much appreciated.

Have you looped out external controls and clock. If it has the mechanical clock they can be faulty

Dv can be slow to react too. If so its that

Sorry is it trying to fire in heating mode?

i have had this problem before and just removed stepper motor and it sorted problem and that was years ago

Thanks for te quick respons, it does try to star on the heating mode and I have looped out external controls and clock.

Pull the condense pipe off on left side. Prob find you have a blockage.
The fan starts at a lower speed in heating mode.

I did clean the condensing trap and pipe Mr Simon but still boiler goes to lock out. I did suspect blocked condensing pipe on this freezing weather we are having.

Feed back when you finish please

Just feed back guys it was the diverter valve changed the divert valve motor, boiler seems to work fine .

as I said i did have this problem before and spoke to technical and he said remove motor and reinstall and that was over 2 years ago and it is still working with out having to replace anything
