Hi Guys,
I would like some advice if possible, Worcester Greenstar 35cdi installed approx 2008

Suddenly without any obvious symptons we have no hot water when the central heating is on.
No lights or codes, pressure is between 1.2 cold and 1.8 when heating on.

I have now noticed a small leak from the cold water supply at the flow turbine which has dripped all over the divert valve.
and have noticed how the pressure has now dropped to 1 bar. I estimate the leak at about 1 litre in 24 hours.

I've topped up properly as per refill procedure and no difference.

When I switch to summer settings the hot water is fine.
When I switch back to timed the central heating is fine.
I've just run the hot water for five minutes on summer setting and can't see any evidence of significant heat loss to the central heating system.

Not sure what the cause is so any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS if I could afford a CRP trust me I would but I'm potless (bad year)

Crp?.

You need GSR to replace a modified part and 1 other part, aint saying which ones a good enginner will know, just ensure it gets the mod kit

You need a new school gsr in to look at your boiler. We cannot and will not give advice on the installation or repair of boilers for your own safety.

Please go to Gas Safe Register | Ensure your gas engineer is registered. or post a thread in the 'I'm looking for a plumber / gas engineer' section of these forums remembering to include your location. [DLMURL="http://www.ukplumbersforums.co.uk/im-looking-plumber-gas-engineer/"]I'm looking for a Plumber or Gas Engineer[/DLMURL]

If you are gsr please increase your post count to 10+ then send a pm to either Gas man or Redsaw who will then check you and then give you access to the gsr private forum.

Thank you.
