anyone no if you can take the prv out of a 28i junior without taking all the hydrolic block out

Yes just rove DCW and it's about 30 Mins. Probably take 2 or more attempts. Lube the o ring

I just take the hydroblock out to be honest. I have done this a few times now for plates and PRV's and not had any issues with getting it to reaseal etc.

This is how I do it too, that way you are sure it's in and all you need are a few bags of seals.

But if you cut cold all you need is a Yorkshire straight and its less Likley to leak

Thanks for the ideas I just disconeted all the pipes then propped the bottom of the boiler away from the wall made it very easy to get too

The hydro block is very easy to take out, after avoiding it for ages I've done 4 now and won't do it any other way again

Cold water pipe out the way and some long nose 90 deg pliers usually does it. You can get the plate out the same way too
